Sounds of the Earth:
A Musical Journey Through Nature

An immersive concert experience on the theme of nature, with soundscape, lighting, special stage set-up and audience participation, with three world premiere including Tamarindo for String Quartet by Frances Pollock and Ye'kwana Melodies for Two Cellos and Let's Preserve Our Nature for Alto Voice, String Quartet and Audience drone by Ye Jin Min.

Ye’kwana Melodies for Two Cellos  (2023; world premiere of arrangement)

Featuring recordings of Ye'kwana singing and instruments. The Ye'kwana are a tribe of Carib origin whom are sailors and live by large rivers in the Alto Orinoco municipality of Venezuela. These recordings were led in 1963 by the famous explorer Charles Brewer-Carías in the Erebato river. This material has been loaned to the New World Symphony in Miami Beach by The Juan Carlos Maldonado Art Collection for the occasion of this concert.
